  1. Hi All Looking for some opinions from folks on here that may have some of the current crop of 1000cc as to which is the most easily converted to a trackday occasional club race bike. Basically I'd like to pick one where the standard electronics or a reflash of the standard ecu is good without having to get kit ecus and looms etc One thats not difficult to get a good suspension setup. One that doesn't need a laptop connected every time I want to run a different Ideally I just want to put a half system, fairings, and a few essentials and hopefully standard electronics. Any advice experience appreciated

  3. I'm selling my 2007 GSXR 750 as I won't be doing a lot with it this year by the looks of it. I have the V5 in my name also. I'm the second owner of it from new and my mate bought it brand new. The bike did 1000 klms on the road and then was converted for track use and is now showing just over 8000 klms. The bike has done mostly track-days and an occasional race meeting with the first owner and I have done only a handful of track-days. The spec is as follows : - Stock engine producing 131bhp on a dynapro dyno. - K-Tech 20mm Fork Kit. - Ohlins TTX rear shock (just serviced and 0 miles since service) - Full Micron Serpent System. - TSS Slipper Clutch. - Factory Pro Velocity Stacks. - HM Plus quickshifter. - Brand new race fairings professionally painted. ( not been on track yet). - Brembo Master cylinder with braided lines. - Quick action throttle. - Rearsets. - New battery. Some spares including full standard exhaust system.   4. Is it just a standard bike. I.e no exhaust, power commander, etc.
  5. I had a switch on the bar that I just switched on to start the bike and then off once I was running. That was on my race bike because my levers didn't work the clutch switch properly. Since yours is a road bike it's probably not the best solution. From reading your original post you say you have to pull the clutch to start the bike so I'm assuming it won't start with the clutch in its normal position. If that's the case it sounds like your clutch switch is working ok.
  6. Just wire it to a toggle switch. That's what I did on mine when I put in aftermarket levers

  10. I bought this bike last year but unfortunately the arrival of a new addition to the family and the subsequent lack of time means I'm reluctantly selling my great spec Fireblade. I bought this bike and before I parted with cash ran it on the dyno where it was making 184bhp with 85ft/lbs torque on a dynapro dyno running standard pump fuel. It has sadly only been used 4 times since then. The spec is as follows: - Honda TSR Fireblade - Chris Mayhew ported head with Kit cams and Kit head gasket.
