I'm looking at selling my bike, as it doesn't look like I'll be doing any racing this year and it would be too much of a waste just to use it on track days. Details are as follows:

2004 SV650, no V5 but all numbers intact.
Built by Steve Joy at Apache Customs for me to compete in Thunderpsort GP2 and BEMSEE Thunderbikes last year, but only ran it on one track day due to work commitments.
All engine work by Protek Racing (flowed heads, Kent cams, Hayabusa pistons and rods, full engine rebuild)
SIGMA slipper clutch
Power Commander + quickshifter (not yet fitted)
Powder coated frame, swingarm, subframes and wheels.
Ohlins shock
GSXR750 SRAD upside down front end
Custom made front and rear sub frames
Fireblade seat unit
675 fairing
R6 radiator
Ducati style battery holder
GBMoto rearsets
Q/A throttle
Brand new wets on wheels with disks + another spare front wheel.

As it was built to run in GP2 which had an 80bhp limit, it is putting out 78bhp at the minute. With the Hayabusa pistons and rods it would definitely take more tuning, but it is a quick, reliable and capable bike as it is.

I'm looking for £3250ono, might take something cheaper in part ex to run on track days. Please PM me with details.

Just sold my sv650 road bike and looking for a track bike, this looks like the type of thing I am after.

Nice bike, I am very tempted since I am looking for a track bike. Are those GSXR wheels and is the rear a 180?

Hi Peter,

The front is GSXR but the back is SV. It has got a 180 rear on at the minute, but it is a 160 rim. I've got a set of 120/160 scrubs that I was going to try back to back with the 180 to feel the difference, and they would come with the bike.
